Arven's own Pokmon is a Mabosstiff, a strong doglike Dark-type Pokmon, who has been badly injured, and he hasn't been able to cure it with regular medicine. Even with Scarlet and Violet's low ratings, the emotional value of the storyline is unavoidable.
